Nashville, Tenn. (July 2, 2019)—Agape Animal Rescue and Tito’s Handmade Vodka are proud to announce award-winning, national radio personality Elaina Smith of NASH Nights Live is set to host Agape Animal Ball, the rescue’s annual masquerade fundraising event. Smith’s voice can be heard on more than 100 country radio stations, the ACM Awards, popular podcast Breaking Thru with Elaina, and on her brand new syndicated weekend show With Elaina on Westwood One Network. On August 10th, she’ll use her voice to raise money for a cause dear to her heart, animal rescue.

“There are few things I am more passionate about than rescue animals. I admire everything Agape Animal Rescue does for the fur babies,” says Smith, who is frequently seen out and about with her own rescue dog, Zoey.

“I’m so excited and honored to host Agape Animal Ball. I’ve attended many times, and it’s one of the most fun nights of the year.”

Agape Animal Rescue has a long history of partnering with strong voices in the Nashville community to bring awareness to the life-changing work it does. Previous hosts include CMT’s Katie Cook, Tennessee Titans alum Brad Hopkins and Eddie George, actress and country artist Jana Kramer, radio personality Kelly Ford and more.

“We have been fans of Elaina since we first heard her on NASH Nights Live. Her enthusiasm for life, our city and animals is infectious. The Gracie Awards honored her for her work in broadcasting this year, and on August 10th, we’ll honor her for her other work—volunteering and bringing awareness to the causes of and solutions for pet homelessness” says Tanya Willis, co-founder and Executive Director of Agape Animal Rescue. Smith, Agape Animal Rescue and presenting sponsor Tito’s Handmade Vodka invite you to attend the organization’s biggest night of the year.

The formal masquerade ball is being held at The Factory at Franklin on Aug. 10 and will feature dinner, live and silent auctions, games, dancing and music by the highly-acclaimed 12 South Band. This year’s theme is “Under the Sea.”
